I have told Afsana to find me a Punjabi groom: Rakhi Sawant
Rakhi Sawant recently visited Chandigarh to shoot her very first Punjabi music video on Afsana Khan’s song. Rakhi and Afsana share a strong bond, as Rakhi had attended Afsana’s wedding in the city last year. They initially connected during Afsana’s time on Bigg Boss 15.
Rakhi expressed that Afsana is like family to her and reminisced about the promise Afsana made to gift her maang tikkas, which were large in size, during her wedding. Rakhi intends to collect them this time from Afsana.
Afsana regards Rakhi as a sister and shared that Rakhi had expressed her desire to act in Afsana’s music video. They were in search of a Punjabi girl for the video, and Rakhi suited the role perfectly. Afsana is grateful to have fulfilled her commitment to Rakhi, just as Rakhi honored her by attending the wedding. Afsana is collaborating with various Bigg Boss participants, including Salim Merchant, Kapil Sharma, Zareen Khan, and more, for her music videos.
Rakhi fell in love with Punjab during her visit last year for Afsana’s wedding. She particularly adores Punjabi cuisine and looks forward to visiting Amritsar and Jalandhar for delicacies like sarson ka saag, makki roti, and Amritsari Kulchey. Rakhi also praised Afsana’s mother’s cooking skills. She expressed her admiration for Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab CM, who is an old friend and had given her a warm welcome to Parliament in 2012.
Rakhi considers Punjabis to be warm and generous individuals and jokingly shared that she has asked Afsana to find her a Punjabi groom now.
